On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, I welcome you to our Web site. The Embassy in Tokyo endeavors to serve as a link between the Republic of Iraq and the government and people of Japan.
This website has been launched to help dissemination of information about our country and its relations with Japan. It provides information and links to the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Iraqi government institutions and departments. Users can find information about history, geography and culture of Iraq.
The Iraq - Japan relations have a very long tradition and continue to grow ever stronger. Japanese investors come to Iraq in continually increasing numbers and Japan has become one of the top foreign direct investors in the country.
The Consulate section of the Web site provides information for Iraqi citizens who need passports or other consular services, and for Japanese individuals and institutions in need of visas and other services.
