Ambassador Faily delivers a lecture to the Iraqi Delegation participating in a workshop jointly organized by UNITAR and JICA
On March 26th, 2013, H.E Ambassador Lukman Faily delivered a lecture, on Program and Institutions Management, to an Iraqi delegation who came to Japan to participate in a seminar titled “Administration Officials Capacity Development for Iraqi Officers”, which is organized by UNITAR Japan Office and JICA. The Iraqi Delegation is comprised of a number of technicians specialized in various fields such as engineering, geology, and Chemistry, and who are working in different Oil and Refinery Companies, affiliated to the Iraqi Ministry of Oil. The lecture by Ambassador Faily came as a complementary part to the seminar‘s program that aimed at strengthening the leadership and managerial skills and capabilities of the Iraqi trainees.
Following the lecture, the Embassy hosted a dinner invitation in honor of the Iraqi delegation and the representatives of UNITAR and JICA, through which Ambassador Faily welcomed his guests and wished them a fruitful stay in Japan and also emphasized the importance of benefiting from the seminar in understanding the obstacles that are hindering the successful completion of projects in Iraq and to know how to overcome them.
At the end of the invitation, Ambassador Faily thanked his guests for accepting the invitation and also thanked the UNITAR and JICA for their kind efforts and hospitality presented to the Iraqi delegation.
