Courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Tadahiro Matsushita, Japanese Senior Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry

H.E.Mr. Lukman Faily, Ambassador of the republic of Iraq, paid a courtesy call on H.E.Mr. Tadahiro Matsushita, Japanese Senior Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

Mr. Ambassador, along with his second secretary, met Mr. Matsushita with a number of senior METI officials at (METI). Mr. Matsushita welcomed Mr. Faily for his visit and expressed his gladness for the current reconstruction process in Iraq. Mr. Matsushita emphasized the importance of moving the reconstruction process to a new stage of building and developing Iraq in all fields, adding, that Japan will continue offering support to Iraq, and Japanese companies are observing the positive developments of security situation and eager to go and work in Iraq.

In return, H.E Lukman Faily extended his gratitude on behalf of the people and the government of Iraq to Japan, and expressed his hope for the inflexing Japanese companies presence in Iraq, either in reconstruction field or for investment. Mr. Ambassador shown his decision to build a good future between the two nations and his readiness to overcome difficulties and providing Japanese companies with useful information in order to encourage them to work in Iraq.
