Courtesy call on Mr. Chiaki Takahashi, Japanese Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry

H.E Lukman Faily , Ambassador of the republic of Iraq, paid courtesy call on H.E Mr. Chiaki Takahashi, vice Minister of METI. Mr. Faily, along with his second secretary, met H.E. Mr. Takahashi. Both parties discussed the aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the means of developing it, especially in the field of economy and other fields with mutual interest. In addition, Mr. Faily and Mr. Takahashi both discussed METIfs role in the (15) projects of the Japanese loan granted to Iraq in the frame of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) program by the government of Japan. Mr. Takahashi expressed his readiness to work along with Mr. Ambassador in order to strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations. On the other hand, H.E Mr. Faily extended his gratitude to H.E Mr. Takahashi for his hospitality.  |
