Ambassador Lukman Failyfs visit to the headquarter of the Islamic Center - Japan

Mr. Lukman Faily, Iraqi Ambassador to Japan, on 08/16/2010, visited the Islamic Center-Japan in Tokyo at the invitation by the members of the board. During the meeting, Mr. Ambassador and the esteemed members of the board discussed the affairs of Muslim Community in Japan and the challenges that they are facing, furthermore, the kind of help and support that the Embassy and the Ambassador could provide.

Mr. Ambassador extended his thanks and appreciation to the members of the board, added that the embassyfs doors is opened to provide assistance and supporting promotion of dialogue and ideas aimed at creating a spirit of tolerance and brotherhood among different cultures and religions.

The Islamic Center - Japan is an independent body; received recognition from the Japanese government as a religious, legal and registered with the relevant government departments in 1980. The Center is aiming at presenting Islam to the Japanese people in general.
