H.E. Lukman Faily visit to the headquarters of the Japanese Red Cross Association

H.E Lukman Faily, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Japan, paid a courtesy call to Mr. Tadateru Conoe, the President of Japanese Red Cross association at his office, on 26/08/2010. The meeting dealt with developments of the political situation in Iraq and the prospects for the formation of new Iraqi government. The Ambassador confirmed that what is happening in Iraq, such as deliberations between political parties regarding government formation, is a learning democratic process which the people and of Iraq have not experienced before specially after a prolong dictatorship which ruled Iraq for decades.. The meeting also discussed past and current activities, epically in the Kurdistan region, of the Japanese Red Cross Association in Iraq, and the prospects for expanding these activities to include all parts of Iraq. |
