Visiting International University of Japan

H.E. Dr. GhanimAl-Jumaily visited International University of Japan in Uonuma city, Niigata prefecture.

The Ambassador had a meeting with professor Sugihara, President of the University. The Ambassador outlined issues confronted by Iraqi higher educations and expressed his strong desire to establish partnerships between universities in Iraq and Japan. The Ambassador also met with professor. Akita, Dean of the university.

The Ambassador delivered a lecture at the university entitled "Iraq, Past, Present and Future." The lecture was attended by the President faculty and many students as part of the peace building program.
