On March 11, H.E. Dr. Ghanim Al-Jumaily paid a courtesy call on General Tamogami, Chief of Staff, Japanese Air Self Defense Force. Ambassador expressed his appreciation on behalf of people and the government of Iraq for their ongoing air lifting services in support of the reconstruction efforts in Iraq. He also would like to learn from Japanese experience of post war reconstruction. Both General Tamogani and the Ambassador pledged to establish long-term friendly ties between Japan and Iraq.
